Similar to Parmigiano Reggiano, Grana Padano is a semi-fat hard cheese which is cooked and ripened slowly, the taste is rich, slightly nutty flavor with a dense and somewhat flaky texture. Creamy, mild and with a lingering aftertaste. It’s also the perfect accompaniment to pasta dishes or risotto.
This is a Mexican Grana Padano style cheese which means it’s milder in flavor and texture.
Wines to pair it with:Â it will pair nicely with Prosecco or a dry Lambrusco; Vermentino and Pinot Grigios will go well too.
Please note: due to weather conditions, we don’t ship cheeses nationally. Cheeses are available only for delivery in the Puerto Vallarta area (Pto. Vallarta, Nuevo Vallarta, Bucerias & La Cruz).Â
