Malasenda
Malasenda wines are produced by the García family in the heart of Ribera del Duero, in the town of Nava de Roa, one of the highest areas in the region.
Only the strongest vines are capable of withstanding the harsh conditions of this area of the Ribera, subjected to very hot summers and very cold winters. Thanks to the experience accumulated by the García family over generations, they can manage the vineyard and take advantage of the full potential of these old vines.
The grapes from the vineyards located between 760 and 800 meters above sea level are used for their roble label – a young and fresh wine.
The higher altitude vineyards are reserved for the Crianza label, a more complex and well-structured wine.
Both are great showcase of the Ribera del Duero terroir and winemaking traditions.
