Description
Details: Les Cousins Vermouth
Alcohol Grade: 15%
Size: 750ml
MXN $900
Produced with: Carignan and Garnacha
Region: Priorat, Spain
You’ll taste/smell: Starting from an organically produced rosé wine, the cuvée then undergoes 6 months of maceration with fresh wild herbs such as rosemary, thyme, lavender, fennel, almond, cardamom, citrus peel, and wormwood (artemisia absinthium), which is what gives it the characteristic bitter point. This is also aa unusual vermouth because it has no alcohol or sweet concentrates added, so it tastes drier than other traditionally produced vermouths.
Good to have it with: by itself as in aperitif, or to accompany Spanish tapas
