Two hands, two minds and the vocation for Mexican wine
DUOMA was born in 2011 in the mind of Carla Figueroa Torres and Eliecer RodrÃguez Arroyo, while studying oenology and viticulture, as they entered the world of wine, it became clear what kind of wines they wanted to create: honest wines, which reflected the soil and climate of Baja California; wines without alterations or modifications and that above all were handled as a food.
In 2016 Having previously worked on winemaking, decided that the hand shelling would bring great quality to the wines and that year they had their first harvest.
The idea is to use hands in winemaking processes where they provide us with higher quality and where a more direct connection with wine as created. A minimal intervention vinification style that focuses on reflecting the Baja California grape in each bottle, seeking the best interaction of the components that contribute to the final quality of the wine; expressive, aromatic and pleasant wines on the palate.
With a modern wine vision combined with manual techniques throughout the process, 3 unique wines were created: Nebbiolo, Syrah and a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Nebbiolo and Syrah.
