You’ll taste/smell: An effortlessly enjoyable red, that goes down dangerously easy. Impeccable balance of red berries and oak, sprinkled with delightful baking spice notes on the palate. A great food wine! Lots of ripe fruit notes and floral aftertaste with a subtle mineral note. The tannins are present and evolving, caramel, toast and in the background a hint of vanilla.

Good to have it with: anything char-grilled like burgers, sausages or portobello mushrooms.

With a decade of experience under his belt, he’s become one of the most perceptive and inquisitive winemakers in the region.

When it comes to defining ‘garagiste’ in Valle de Guadalupe, Vinos Plata embodies the concept. Despite its unassuming size and humble approach, Erick crafts wines in Mexico that truly deserve global recognition.
