Mexican wine made in France. Binational product with an unconventional ideal of the denomination of origin. Carignan + Grenache, from French vineyards in the Roussillon area. Old vineyards planted some in 1910-1950. Wine made within a Mexican cooperative project located in the eastern Pyrenees, in the commune of Felluns, Roussillon, France. Fermented in France, shipped, barrel aged and bottled in the Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico.
Vinos Pijoan is the result of a dream, of a passion, of a total change of course in a little-expected moment. Since 2002, the family winery has been characterized by its quality and by being a pioneer in the emerging and dynamic Mexican wine scene.
Alcohol Grade: 12.7%
Aged 12 months in second-use French, Hungarian and American oak barrels.
