Wine Details:
Domaine Delaporte’s rosé wine is made from Pinot Noir grapes that grow on vines at least fifteen years old. 60% are planted in argilo-siliceous soil and the rest in limestone soil. These vines are worked according to sustainable agricultural methods, in order to show maximum respect for the ecosystem and the environment.
Alcohol Grade: 13%
Aging/ Vinification: The grapes are 100% hand-picked and pressed straight away without any maceration. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out for twelve days in stainless steel vats that are thermo-regulated at a temperature of 15° C (59° F). Bottling in March after six months aging on lees

The Winery: Domaine Delaporte
Located in the heart of the Sancerre region, Domaine Delaporte is a family business that has been passed from father to son since the 17th century. The Domaine is found in the beautiful village of Chavignol, which is renowned for the goat cheese Crottin de Chavignol. Since 2010, Vincent Delaporte’s grandson, Matthieu Delaporte, has been focused on further improving the Domaine’s wine. Precision, balance, and complexity are the maxims of the Domaine Delaporte cuvées, with each delivering a strong sense of individual terroir, marked by considerable minerality, power, and freshness.
