You’ll taste/smell: a lovely rosé; there are aromas and flavors of red cherry, ruby red grapefruit, and cranberry, juicy but dry it’s the perfect companion for any seafood dish.

Good to have it with:  Fish dishes and seafood, risottos, salads and pizza. Creamy seafood soup and risotto with artichoke, Pizza topped with bufala mozzarella, fresh cherry tomatoes and basil. Scallops au gratin with butter and brandy. Sicilian style sea bream sandwich.

The Rosalba is pretty light pink. An intriguing nose with clear floral aromas and hints of citrus, lavender, and roses. The taste is full and yet pleasantly fresh with slightly spicy tones. The long finish is nicely fresh and fruity.

The Pierpaolo Pecorari Estate is located in Eastern Friuli near the former republic of Yugoslavia. The estate is known for its elegant white wines with great varietal character. Pierpaolo cultivates his grapes according to local tradition with a minimum of chemical intervention before they are cold-fermented in stainless steel tanks. Due to the low production of wine from this small estate (5,000 cases per year), special attention is given to producing a superior quality in each bottle released.

Alcohol Grade: 12.5%

Aged in barrel for 7 months on fine lees and undergoes weekly batonnage.
