You’ll taste/smell: this sparkling is so much fun to drink: the bubbles are lively, yet small and persistent. The nose is delicious golden apples, pineapple and warm bread, long dry finish, refreshing and easy drinking, a perfect starter on a warm day. It was made in the ancestral method yet the wine is not funky, just great winemaking here.

Good to have it with: this pairs great with easy comfort food, appetizers, sharing hot wings or french fries with friends.

The Winery: Petilia

Petilia is a small family-owned winery in Campania of about 20 hectares in the Tufo area, famed for Greco di Tufo. Historically the Bruno family sold fruit from their vineyards, but since 1999 and today under the guidance of Roberto and Theresa, they have developed their own, well respected wines.
