Produced with: Vermouth with a Rioja soul made from Viura white wines aged in 500 and 250-liter barrels, macerated with plants, roots, herbs, and citrus peel, fortified, and sweetened. It is macerated with 24 botanicals, including ajenjo, genciana, marjoram, cardamom, and lemon peel.

You’ll taste/smell: Golden yellow in color. The nose is notable for its aromas of wild herbs, cardamom, lemon, and orange, interspersed with elegant spicy notes. The palate is subtle and integrated, with a bouquet of flavors reminiscent of citrus fruits, baked goods, spicy notes, and undergrowth. Its refreshing, bitter, and long finish.

Good to have it with: As an aperitif, enjoy it alone, or with ice or a piece of lemon peel.
With savory dishes: pair with olives (pickles in general), cheeses, chips, smoked foods, fish, mussels, or any seafood.
With sweet dishes: those with a sweeter, darker flavor, such as chocolate cakes, red berries, oranges, and nuts.

Details: San Bernabé Gran Reserva Blanco Vermouth

Another key element in the production of San Bernabé vermouth is the delicate and specialized selection of the different herbs, seeds, roots and fruits that make up the almost 50 botanicals with which our vermouth is made.

In addition to the classics par excellence such as artemisia, gentian, citrus peel and cinnamon, other native ones are added such as santolina, rosemary, sloe and juniper collected in the districts of the Sierra de los Cameros to the Picos de Urbión.
