Fattori ‘Danieli” Soave 2022

MXN $450

Grape: 85% Garganega, 15% Trebbiano di Soave

Region: Veneto, Italy

Appellation: Soave DOC

You’ll taste/smell:This Soave has an easy charm from the first pour, with aromas of white flowers, fresh pear, citrus peel, and a subtle herbal edge. On the palate, it’s clean and juicy with stone fruit flavors, a light nutty touch, and that signature Soave minerality running through. There’s good energy and texture without being too serious—just a super drinkable, well-made white that overdelivers for the price. If you like crisp whites with a bit of depth, this is one to grab.

Good to have it with: will pair nicely with garlicky shrimp scampi, lemon and herb roasted chicken, sautéed asparagus with parmesan and a lightly spiced veggie frittata

The Winery: Fattori

Fattori is a family-run winery in Veneto, Italy, where volcanic soils and a hillside climate shape the character of its wines. The vineyards, rooted in basalt-rich terrain, lend a natural minerality and vibrancy to the grapes, while the warm days and cool nights allow for slow, even ripening. This balance helps preserve acidity and develop layered flavors, particularly in native varieties like Garganega and Durella. The winery’s deep connection to the land is evident in its commitment to sustainable farming, ensuring that each vintage reflects the purity of its surroundings.

Led by winemaker Antonio Fattori, the estate blends tradition with innovation in the cellar. Stainless steel and oak are carefully used to highlight varietal expression, with minimal intervention to maintain freshness and complexity. Fermentations are controlled to bring out the natural character of the fruit, resulting in wines that are bright, precise, and full of depth. Fattori’s thoughtful approach has earned recognition from critics, with wines praised for their elegance, structure, and authentic reflection of Veneto’s terroir.
