A textbook expression of old-vine Gamay from the granite-rich slopes of Brouilly. Jérôme Mathon works with vines up to 100 years old, creating a Beaujolais Cru that trades light simplicity for real depth and character. Upfront, it packs a vibrant punch of ripe black cherry, wild plum, and dark floral notes, backed by an underlying edge of crushed rock and subtle spice. Richer and more structured than a basic Beaujolais—thanks to those deep ancient roots—yet it keeps that signature snappy acidity and silky texture that make you want another glass right away.
