This is a light and very approachable Sangiovese from the volcanic slopes of Lazio. On the nose, it’s all about bright red fruit—think sour cherries and wild raspberries—with a subtle, earthy scent that reminds you of the mineral-rich soil it comes from.

It’s lean on the palate with a refreshing acidity and very soft tannins. You get a nice, clean fruitiness followed by a slightly salty finish that makes it really easy to enjoy. It’s a simple, honest red that works perfectly with a light chill.
