This Oloroso, aged more than 30 years in botas, is intensely saline and earthy, with complex nutty flavors. It is very dry, yet generous and ripe, a vibrant wine that would go well with braised lamb. It displays a dark amber color and a complex nose of cigar ash, candied apricots, and roasted nuts. The palate is ample, velvety, and with good structure. Very slightly off-dry, which makes it very approachable.
