Founded in the 1930s, Parés Baltà is a family-owned winery with a rich heritage dating back to the 1700s. Located near the Mediterranean in the esteemed Penedès and Cava regions, its 176 hectares of vineyards produce exquisite Cavas and still wines. Embracing both tradition and innovation, the winery uses a variety of grape varietals, including classic Cava grapes like Macabeo, Xarel-lo, and Parellada, as well as Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Gewurztraminer, to craft exceptional wines.
Parés Baltà is committed to eco-friendly practices, using biodynamic methods and natural fertilization to maintain vineyard health. This dedication to sustainability is reflected in the quality of their wines, which have received accolades from renowned publications such as Decanter, Guia Peñin, and Cuisine et Vins de France. Esteemed sommeliers have also recognized the winery’s excellence, with their “Dominio Cuisine 1790” being named one of Spain’s “Mythical Wines.” Parés Baltà stands as a testament to the harmonious blend of tradition and modern winemaking.
