Vinos Pijoan Silvana Chenin Sauvignon Blanc Blend 2021

MXN $495

Grape: Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat

Region: Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California, Mexico

You’ll taste/smell: fresh aromas of flowers like jasmine and fruits: guava, passion fruit and green apple, as well as citrus notes, honey and fresh grass. On palate is dry with a marked bright natural acidity, very easy to drink.

Good to have it with: goes really well with shellfish and seafood from Baja; but it also can be paired with fatty tacos due to the balanced acidity like barbacoa tacos, pork belly tacos or bone marrow tacos

Best to have it: 53-57ºF, 10-12ºC

Description

The first 5 wines from Pijoan pay tribute to the women who shaped Pau Pijoan’s life: his mother, wife and three daughters. In 2008 he created Carmen María, in honor of his sister, and in 2009 he offers Manel, a generous red, in honor of his father. In all cases, Pau seeks that each wine expresses the personality and way of life of each person.

Vinos Pijoan is the result of a dream, of a passion, of a total change of course in a little-expected moment. Since 2002, the family winery has been characterized by its quality and by being a pioneer in the emerging and dynamic Mexican wine scene.
