Wine Details
They say that you never get a second chance to make a first impression. Wittmann’s ESTATE Riesling serves as that calling card, introducing the elegance and sense of place for which their Rheinhessen estate is known. The grapes are all grown in their vineyards, cultivated bio-dynamically, and tended by hand. An exceptionally food-friendly wine both in its youth and as it matures.
High-quality wine doesn’t come on its own. It starts in the vineyards with yield reduction, hand selection of the fruit, and other biodynamic practices throughout the year. In the cellar, gentle pressing is followed by traditional vinification methods. The wine is primarily fermented in traditional large barrels.
